10.30am     Exhibition with teas and coffees in the Village 

                  Hall.

11.15am    Official Opening Ceremony (time to be confirmed – see ‘More

                 Details’ below). The ceremony can be viewed from the

                 new Head House Lane Bridge.

12.15pm     A celebratory buffet for Newton and District residents              

                 in the Village Hall. (Generously provided by Laing

                 O’Rourke)

10.45am          Minister/HA Official arrives at Netherwood Hotel

11.00am          Coaches transfer guests to site

11.15am          arrive at site for speeches, ribbon cutting

12.00pm          Media opportunities

12.30pm          Guests travel back to Netherwood Hotel following route of new bypass

1.00pm            Buffet lunch at Netherwood Hotel
